This is a collaborative piece with a designer. On a beautiful day in Paris, my friend and I were so moved by the beauty of these Fall trees that we immediately started coming up with ideas to collaborate. She then went on to make a stunning collection called the Spider collection. When we went to photograph her collection near the same trees we realized, we were not merely photographing her clothes but making a Grimm Fairytale.

The photographs look like snippets from a story that we ended up naming the Archaea Tales where the Archaea Queen was trying to save a lost species of spiders. This collection of photographs is now undergoing printing to make a children’s book with the same name. It’s the adventures of the Archaea Queen.
